Scope and purpose

99ab provides self-exclusion and related safeguarding options to promote responsible gaming. This policy governs how players may temporarily or permanently exclude themselves from participation in all games and promotional activities on the 99ab platform, and explains how requests are processed, the available durations, and how reactivation occurs.

Definitions

  • Self-exclusion means a voluntary, time-bound or permanent withdrawal from access to the 99ab platform for a defined period, covering all products and services.
  • Time-out / cooling-off means a short-term break from gambling, after which access to the platform will resume automatically unless another measure is enacted.
  • Reactivation means the restoration of the user’s ability to access the 99ab platform following the expiration of self-exclusion or upon a valid written request.

Self-exclusion options

Extended self-exclusion

You may request an extended self-exclusion for a period of six months to five years. If you do not specify a period, the exclusion applies for six months. During the exclusion, login attempts to existing accounts are blocked and you will not be able to access or create any new account on the 99ab platform for the duration of the exclusion.

Cooling-off (time-out)

You may designate a cooling-off period to pause gambling activity without permanently restricting access. Eligible durations are 24 hours, 1 week, 3 weeks, or 6 weeks. At the end of the cooling-off period, your account will automatically reactivate unless another measure has been put in place.

How to request self-exclusion

  1. Log in to your 99ab account or access the Self-Exclusion page via the official channels.
  2. Choose the exclusion option and specify the period (six months to five years) or select a cooling-off duration if preferred.
  3. Submit the request to 99ab Customer Support. The exclusion becomes effective upon processing and confirmation by 99ab. If no period is specified for self-exclusion, the default six-month period applies.

Effects of self-exclusion

  • Access to all games and services on the 99ab platform is blocked for the chosen period. You will not be able to log in, gamble, or open a new account during the exclusion.
  • Promotional offers, invitations, and noncash prizes tied to participation prior to the exclusion may be forfeited if not yet redeemed.
  • Any active entries in competitions or draws entered before self-exclusion may be terminated in accordance with applicable terms.
  • During self-exclusion, attempts to circumvent restrictions or to re-register under another identity may result in immediate account suspension or termination at 99ab’s sole discretion.

Reactivation and changes

You may request early termination of self-exclusion in writing. 99ab retains sole discretion to determine whether and when reactivation occurs, and may require verification prior to restoration of access. Reactivation will occur only after the written request is reviewed and processed by 99ab.

Additional safeguards

99ab may close or restrict a player’s account if ongoing gambling behavior indicates risk of financial or personal harm. After such a decision, the player will not be permitted to create a new account while the restriction remains in effect.
